Betsy runs on all 45mm tracks from Radius 1. The boiler is heated by a tube burner, with a butane-propane gas mixture (camping gas). The cylinder is a full-pressure type with piston valve (Teflon) and reversing valve. The wheels are electrically isolated.
No short circuit! Without water replenishment, the operating time would be approx. 20 minutes, but water can be fed back
into the boiler via the feed valve contained in the kit, so the operating time can be more than twice as long.
